A digital chamber where verified citizens debate and vote on every bill before Parliament - and where every MP's record is measured against the people they represent.
We live in a representative democracy, and it has real strengths. You have a named representative - one person, accountable to your constituency, whom you can write to, meet, and petition to act on your behalf. Someone whose job is to carry your corner of the country into the division lobbies.
But the same system has failings. If you live in a safe seat, your vote has likely never changed the outcome, and your MP knows it. There is little pressure to listen and no realistic way to apply any. And sometimes the country's most powerful office changes hands with no public vote at all: a Prime Minister can be appointed whom nobody outside of Makerfield and the Parliamentary Labour Party ever got a say in.
We believe those voices can be heard - and MPs held to account when they fall out of lockstep with their constituents. Not through a single vote once every five years, but on every piece of legislation that passes through Parliament. That is the People's Chamber.
Strong identity verification. One member, one vote. No bots or fake accounts. A direct voice from the demos to those in power.
Every bill before Parliament, synced from the official Parliament API, opens for verified public debate as it moves through its stages.
Cast your Aye or No while the House considers it. Change your mind until the division closes. Your identity is never linked to your vote in anything published.
Constituency results published beside each MP's recorded vote. Alignment - or divergence - visible on every division, in every seat, including the safe ones.
We're not funded. No party, no union, no think tank, no donor. This is the work of but one individual who believes the gap between Westminster and the rest of us can be closed a little. It will be slower than a funded project. It will also answer to no one but its members.
Leave an email and we'll write exactly twice: once when verification opens for early members, and once when the first bill goes live for debate.
